Meet Frank Casucci, LMT

Regional Expert in Sports & Medical massage — Katonah, NY

For over twenty years I’ve helped athletes and active people get out of pain and back to performing. I’ve worked the sidelines and treatment rooms for Grand Slam champions, 13 NCAA Champions, 2 NBA World Champions, NBA Dunk Champion, Taekwondo world champion, NBA, MLB players, collegiate Hockey, Football, Soccer, Lacrosse, Baseball, Basketball, Fencing and Track and Field. I’ve worked at the 2018 US Open Tennis Championships (Co-Director of massage therapy), Premier Lacrosse League and Women’s Professional Lacrosse League players, Team USA Taekwondo, the Professional Squash Association, Manhattanville University, Pace University and Yale athletics, and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL). Before that, I spent a decade on staff at Family Sports Medicine & Fitness of Westchester alongside Dr. Eric Small, one of the leading sports medicine physicians in the tri-state region.

I also know elite physical performance from the inside out — Working professionally with the Pilobolus, Joffrey Ballet, Martha Graham, Paul Taylor, and Smuin companies and individual performers of ABT and NYCB. I understand what it takes to keep a body performing at its limit, and what it costs when something breaks down.

My approach (why I’m different)

I don’t do generic rubdowns. Every session starts with an assessment to find the actual dysfunction — the imbalance or movement pattern creating your pain — not just the spot that hurts. Then I use hands-on work drawn from orthopedic massage, sports medicine, and manual therapies which include neuromuscular and myofascial techniques, which I have learned and developed throughout my career to unwind chronic pain patterns and correct what’s underneath.

The goal is simple: get you ready to perform and excel in your sport or activity without pain — and keep the problem from coming back. Every session is targeted to your individual needs, which is why no two are exactly alike.
